I lead education initiatives by starting with the end in mind. What behavior or knowledge do we want to change, and how will we know if we are successful?
I use technology to gather learner feedback and use this feedback to influence learning offerings.
I embrace AI to serve as a thought partner to better learning, track data and drive results.
I work alongside a fabulous team to meet our group and organizational goals.
I’ve spent 25 years in Training and Learning & Development. Over that time, I’ve found that flexibility, a willingness to keep learning, and openness to change and technology really matter.
Enter Artificial Intelligence (AI).
L&D thought leaders, influencers and technology products now focus on how AI will impact our technology, workflow and even relevance. I am focused on embracing AI to speed up my workflow while still driving results. The experiences so far are amazing. Stay tuned!
Design: Volunteer Coordinator orientation module. 6 months of working with a SME to turn a vague idea into an impactful learning module
Data: Track level 1 learner perception survey to focus learning and baby step our way into tracking behavior change (coming in Q4!)
AI: Track time saved using AI, including the tools used. Connect that to SME time savings and any impact on learning outcomes.
"What do you do as an Instructional Designer?" Thank you for asking! I explain here, and created this helpful flyer for a high school career fair.
